The Texas Chapter of The Wildlife Society is pleased to be able to present a number of scholarships to deserving students. Scholarships are provided for educational assistance to college students pursuing degrees in programs that will prepare them for careers in natural resource conservation. Scholarships through the Texas Chapter are made possible through private donations and membership support.
Undergraduate and graduate scholarship applications should be submitted to the Scholarship Chair by November 30th.

Cottam presentations must be sent to the Program Website by November 30 to ensure inclusion in the meeting program. The extended abstract must be uploaded with your 250 word Program abstract by 11:59 pm November 30 to be included in the judging. The website will not accept late entries. Questions should be directed to the Cottam Awards Chair.

Southwest Section of TWS Chapter Meeting Registration Awards
- Award covers the annual conference registration fee for three full-time students from each state chapter represented in the Southwest Section of The Wildlife Society (Texas, Arizona, and New Mexico). Applications open October 15th and close November 30th .
Southwest Section of TWS Southwestern Wildlife Graduate Student Scholarship
- Award in the amount of $1000 that is given annually to a graduate student who is currently enrolled in a natural resource-oriented program at a college or university in Arizona, New Mexico, or Texas and is studying wildlife. Application Deadline is November 30th 2024.
